WEEK 1 / CRAFT

Butcher Paper
Permanent Marker

Tissue Paper

PREPARATION INSTRCTIONS:

Cut a length of butcher paper and tape to a table or the floor. 

 

HELP YOUR CHILD:

Next, draw one large outline of a tree with the cloudlike tree top or multiple trees for children to sit at. 

Another thing you could do is: 

Tear tissue paper into small pieces and wad into balls. 

WEEK 2 / CRAFT

Poster board
Permanent marker
Mini Sticky Notes
 
Optional:
Dry Erase Board
Marker
instead of poster board and marker 

PREPARATION INSTRCTIONS:

Draw a simple outline of a fish 

as large as the poster board. Draw a stick figure man on one of the sticky notes. Put sticky notes all around the room and hide the 

stick figure man sticky note under another sticky note. Optional: Draw the fish outline on a table or dry erase board. 

 

HELP YOUR CHILD:

Encourage children to collect the sticky notes from around the room and fill the fish. Find Jonah (the stick figure man). If desired, have leader or children remove the sticky notes from the fish and place them around the room to play again. Repeat as long as desired. 

WEEK 3 / CRAFT

“One Through Seven” Activity Pages
Cardstock Paper
Pom Poms / Tissue Paper

PREPARATION INSTRCTIONS:

Copy “One Through Seven” Activity Pages on cardstock, one set per small group. Spread pages out in order on a table. Scatter the pom

poms throughout the room.

HELP YOUR CHILD:

Encourage children to work together to collect and fill each page with the correct number of pom poms. Repeat as long as desired

WEEK 4 / CRAFT

“Two Adults and a King” Activity Page
Cardstock Paper
Scissors
Tape
Three Paper Bowls

PREPARATION INSTRCTIONS:

Copy “Two Adults and a King” Activity Page on cardstock and cut out, one set per small group. Tape each picture to the inside of a bowl.

 

HELP YOUR CHILD:

Show children the pictures in the bowls then flip them face down. Move them around and have children pick which one they think has the kid inside. Repeat as long as desired.

WEEK 5 / CRAFT

“Footprints” Activity Page
Cardstock Paper
Scissors
Clear Contact Paper / Clear Paper Sleeve

PREPARATION INSTRCTIONS:

Copy “Footprints” Activity Page

on cardstock, several per activity. Arrange on the floor with the footprints alternating different directions. Secure to the floor with clear

contact paper.

HELP YOUR CHILD:

Have children line up and hop on the footprints in the direction the feet point. Repeat as long as desired.
